We are looking to submit a planning application by the end of the year, with a targeted planning committee of Spring 2024. If planning permission is successfully secured, we are looking to commence demolition works in Summer 2024.

As part of the planning application, we will be submitting a Construction Management Plan (CMP), which will be developed in cooperation with Croydon Council.

Delivering leisure centre first:

We will be delviering the leisure centre before we deliver any flats on the site, and the leisure centre will be operational before construction of the flats begins

    • Site fully hoarded
    • Demolition, ground clearance and levelling undertaken at the existing car park, existing leisure centre and existing Sainsbury’s
    • Retention of basement slab
  • Phase 2
    • Piling and pile caps inserted across the site
    • Construction traffic to access the site from Whytecliffe Road
    • Construction access and erection of the tower crane from the High Street
  • Phase 3
    • Completion of the podium box to make the area under Buildings B, C and D the same level as Whytecliffe Road
    • Construction of the superstructure of Building A
  • Phase 4
    • Fit out of the leisure centre
    • Landscaping of the public square
    • Commencement of the superstructure for Buildings B, C and D
    • Envelope for Building A
  • Phase 5
    • Leisure centre operational and public square accessible
    • Completion of the fit-out of Building A
    • Envelope and fit-out to Buildings B, C and D
  • Phase 6
    • Opening of the car park
    • Opening of Building A
    • Completion of the fit-out to Buildings B, C and D
